Introduction. As Russian society undergoes transformations driven by globalization and shifting priorities, developing a coherent humanistic worldview in the younger generation becomes a crucial educational imperative. This worldview is based on respect for human life and human rights, and is intended to serve as a reliable foundation for personal development and active citizenship. In this process, it is particularly important to rely on national values that ensure cultural continuity and strengthen civic identity. This study aims to theoretically substantiate and systematize pedagogical technologies that develop a humanistic worldview in school students based on national values.
Materials and Methods. The author examines Russia’s core national values as enshrined in strategic documents, including patriotism, citizenship, strong families, high moral ideals, and historical memory. The article analyzes key concepts: worldview, considered as a complex, multifaceted process of developing a system of views; humanism and a humanistic worldview, defined as a value system centered on the individual and their well-being; and national values, which serve as a concrete manifestation of universal humanistic principles. The article identifies the interrelation between these concepts and reveals their role in moral education and personality development.
Results. The article proposes pedagogical technologies that combine universal human values with national traditions to develop a humanistic worldview in school students. The author systematizes these technologies by their primary pedagogical impact: technologies for cognitive development and meaning-making, technologies for emotional and sensory enrichment, and technologies for activity-based and behavioral development. The study demonstrates that combining humanistic principles with national values is the most effective way to foster a harmonious, socially responsible individual.
Conclusions. Implementing the proposed pedagogical technologies will enable students to understand humanistic principles and national values consciously, while fostering empathy, tolerance, and a readiness for active, responsible social participation. A humanistic worldview rooted in the rich heritage of Russian national values cannot develop without reliance on the humanities and the effective use of pedagogical technologies. Further research should focus on empirically testing these technologies and evaluating their effectiveness in various conditions of the educational process.
